Author plans book tour: 6 events, 4 Mississippi cities

And One Was A Priest author Araminta S. Johnston will travel to four Mississippi cities in May 2011 to appear at book signings.

The subject of the biography, Bishop Duncan M. Gray Jr., is tentatively scheduled to join the author at one signing.

The signing tour was arranged by University Press of Mississippi Assistant Director Steven B. Yates.

Scheduled stops include:

Monday, May 9, Square Books, Oxford, Miss., 5-7 p.m.

Tuesday, May 10, Lemuria Books, Jackson, Miss., 5-6 p.m. with Bishop Gray.

Wednesday, May 11, “History Is Lunch” at Winter Archives & History Building, Jackson, Miss., Noon.

Thursday, May 12, Reed’s Gum Tree Bookstore, Tupelo, Miss., Noon-1:30 p.m.

Friday, May 13, Lorelei Books, Vicksburg, Miss., 4-6 p.m.

Saturday, May 14, Barnes & Noble, Tupelo, Miss., 1-3 p.m.
